The Liberators Band

The Liberators Show Band of Tulsa, Oklahoma was founded in May of 1972. It was a popular dance band featuring a four-man horn section that also performed lead vocals, and a four-piece rhythm section. The members were:

Bobby "Fuzzy" Eaton: Bass and Vocals
Bobby Giles: Lead Guitar
Mitchell "Doonie" Edwards: Drums
Darryl Matthews: Congas & Percussion
Michael "Slyde" Jennings: Trombone, Trumpet,  Choreography

1975 to 1980: "Record Player" - Semi-Professional Performance & Recording Experience
Record Player Band 

Record Player of Dayton, Ohio was founded in the Summer of 1975. It was one of many popular Dayton dance bands featuring the sounds of Pop, Funk and Jazz. In 1976, Record Player recorded the 45RPM Single and Regional Hit, "Free Your Mind" on the Gem City Records Label.  The members were:

Michael Jennings became a member of the Ohio Players of Dayton, Ohio in September 1980, and recorded on the albums, "Ouch" and "Tenderness." The members were:
